Victor von Veldez is a stunning 2 year old sable German Shepherd mix. Victor is Westside’s “celebrity” dog -- legendary for having survived 2 months out in the Sierra Nevada wilderness alone. He is a testament to the resilience and smarts of his breed, and we are looking for the most wonderful home for this very special boy. Despite his “bad boy” good looks, Victor is anything but! He is extremely well-behaved on leash and ignores other dogs during his walks. He loves hanging out at the dog park, where he meets other dogs great and then finds a spot to observe the mischief around him. Victor currently lives with a Doberman and two little terriers, and would love to be part of a pack or at least have a doggy buddy in his new home. This gentle guy is shy when he first meets you but offer him a treat and he will quickly warm up and even cuddle next to you. He is housebroken, likes going on hikes and enjoying the outdoors. He is submissive to his humans and will let you take his food bowl away, but prefers to dine alone without the presence of other dogs. Victor dreams of finding a loving owner who will help build his confidence and show him that he is finally home at last.
